Subject: A REPORT CASE
Date: Sun, 21 Jan 2001 17:28:49 +0200
Dear DC/
here is a report case we would love to know your idea about it.
it made with MRI BRAIN,USING DIFFERNET PULSE SEQUENCES AND PARAMETERS, ON A SUPERCONDUCTIVE 1.5 TESLA MAGNET, REVELED;
A large parieto-occipital intra-axial blood cellection is seen measuring about 6.0* 4.5 cm in dimensions, extending to the high convexity level. thelesion shows T1 and T2 thick peripheral hyperintensty with central iso to hyperintensity and thin peripheral T2 low signal rim casued by hemosiderin...
Features consistent with late subacute intracerebral hematoma.
-the lesion is surrounded by grade II vasogenic perifocal brain oedema.BOTH the lesion and surrounded oedema exert mass effect in the form of effacement of the related contralateral mdiline shift
-Normal structures of the posterior fossa, with no cervico-medullary junction abnormalities seen.
-incidentally, sphenoidal mucosal thickening is noted mainly at its left compartmend.
opinion:
MRI features are consistene with a sizable right parieto-occipital late subacute primary intracerebral heamorrhage.
P.S: the age is 62 year ,male
we hope you will reply us as soon as possible at
